Medical Tourism Blogs

As part of the excellent Thai Medical Tourism Blog Contest I’m coming across several excellent resources about the topic of Medical Tourism. Here are some of them from the entrants in the contest:

Novasans Healthcare Directory and Blog – Directory of Medical Tourism Providers, Health Tips, Health Articles.

Medical Tourism “Light” in Thailand / bba blog. Baby boomer is a term used in the USA to reflect those born during the surge of births in the years following World War Two, and this blog caters to those folks. There’s a nice summary of the author’s experiences with medical tourism in Thailand and she even invites questions from readers.

Preetising’s Weblog: Preetiging has been an advocate for Medical Tourism for many years and the blog discusses in some detail some of the procedures as well as personal and industry issues.

Health Base This is the blog of HealthBase, a long time “facilitator” of Medical Travel and tourism that works out of the USA and helps arrange hospital care, surguries, and procedures overseas.

MedTrawell A medical tourist resource with articles, medical travel tips, and a “health tourist guide”

Ailing to Healing – A personal journey in health care

Faculty of Medicine – A fairly technical medical blog for doctors and students
